This Genshin Impact Nahida glitch gives Dendro Archon a movement ability that HoYoverse never intended for him, and the player used this glitch to travel to the Inazuma region in the previous RPG. Nahida is able to hold back any momentum that is thrown at her while he is in his idle animation. This means that while he is on his little swing, he too can move around Teyvat if given a good push.
A recent in-game news update informed players that HoYoverse was aware of this issue. The developer intends to fix this in a later update, so all beginning players and curious veterans had better use it while it lasts.
To perform a bug, Nahida must enter an idle animation where she is sitting on a floating Dendro swing. She will remain there indefinitely unless the player forces her to move. As she swings, the co-op partner must apply force in any direction using abilities that cause movement, such as Xiao’s or Jin’s elemental abilities. A simple push should also work, but this way Nahida will move much slower.
The Genshin community had a lot of fun with this new bug, and one player even managed to reach Inazuma from the shores of Liyue using Nahida’s glitch. Redditor JMSX101 recorded his entire journey and uploaded it to a Reddit thread.
In the video, we can see that Xiao’s elemental ability was used to push Nahida from shore to shore. The momentum was maintained even when the player opened the camera and chose a new position/stance for Nahida. As she approached Inazuma, she was teleported to the Rito Docks, where players would meet after traveling to Inazuma as normal.
Nahida’s character banner is now available in Genshin Impact version 3.2, so you can pull it out and try it out for yourself. That is, unless you save up for Scaramouche’s Banner and Faruzan’s Banner, which are coming in Genshin Impact 3.3.
