The Project Zero: Mask of the Lunar Eclipse trailer provides an overview of the game, starting with the storyline summarized with some short sequences. The main characters Ruka Minazuki, Misaki Aso, and Madoka Tsukimori are presented later, and the setting is an abandoned mental hospital where something terrible happened years ago.

PROJECT ZERO: Mask of the Lunar Eclipse is the fourth game in the PROJECT ZERO series, released for the Wii in 2008. As with PROJECT ZERO: Maiden of Black Water, this series’ masterpiece will be reborn in a remastered version.
As children, the heroes visited the remote island of Rogetsu, where they disappeared under mysterious circumstances in the middle of a festival. The game begins with the girls deciding to return to the island in search of their lost memories of that day.
Try to fend off ghosts by relying only on the weak light of a flashlight and Camera Obscura, a camera that can capture the unimaginable.
