With 12 new creatures introduced in the update, be sure to explore each of the Core Keeper biomes to find them all.

A variety of new weapons, equipment, tools and fish will also be available as players challenge themselves to defeat two new bosses: Volcanic Molten Dough and Ra-Akar, the Titan of the Sands. In addition, a number of community-requested quality of life improvements will be introduced, including Steam Achievements; the ability to fish from boats and trolleys; clickable recipes to automatically add ingredients to the pan; and the ability to destroy, lift and place the largest objects in the world.

“Desert of Beginnings is by far our biggest update to Core Keeper and we’re excited for players to discover it,” said Sven Tole, COO and Lead Animator at Pugstorm. “We’ve been listening carefully to what players love most about the game, as well as what else they’d like to see in the game, and we feel we’ve come a long way to deliver that with this update. We really like the new playability that the cards offer and we can’t wait to see how the community reacts to this.”
