Electronic Arts Inc. (NASDAQ:EA) announced today that it has partnered with Marvel on a long-term agreement to develop at least three new adventure games that will be available for consoles and PC. Each of these games will have their own original story set in the Marvel Universe, with the first game being a third-person single-player Iron Man adventure game created by Motive Studios.

Developed in partnership with Marvel, Iron Man will feature original storytelling that explores the character’s rich history, captures Tony Stark’s complexity, charisma and creative genius, and lets players experience what it’s like to truly play as Iron Man. The team is led by Olivier Proulx, who has experience on previous Marvel titles such as Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy, and is joined by a dedicated team of passionate industry veterans including Ian Fraser, Melenne Lumino and J.F. Poirier at the studio.
