no wonder that Nvidia GeForce RTX 4090 you can play Genshin Impact at high resolutions, but the latest graphics card bumps the pixel count to three times that of the best gaming monitors. Running at a whopping 13K, the RPG displays more detail than ever before, but trades more frames than it’s likely to gain. I don’t want to give anything away, even if you somehow have a capable screen.
This is not the first time that Golden Reviewer has tried to find the limits of Genshin Impact. Earlier in October, Youtuber showed off the game running at an already impressive 7K resolution with maximum graphics settings, a render resolution of 1.1, and an unlocked framerate cap that consistently hits triple digits.
Although Genshin is designed to run on smartphones, resolutions up to 13760 x 5760 with the same maximum settings at 1.5 render resolution don’t save as much on framerates, but instead get closer to 30fps. It should be noted that this is not a strict benchmark and none of the images capture the chaos of combat, so performance may vary depending on what you’re doing in-game.
Because even the best gaming monitors don’t have 13K resolution, Golden Reviewer takes screenshots and zooms in to show off the incredible level of detail. According to the content creator, with a resolution of almost 180 MP, the images are denser than even the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra smartphone can do.
You don’t need the best gaming PC to accomplish these goals, but your rig still needs to be powerful enough. Golden Reviewer’s Intel i7-10700F has been outdated for a few generations, but the processor is still comparable to newer processors. Combine that with 64GB of DDR4 RAM and a better graphics card and you can get 13K resolution too.
