Looking for a new Fallout 4 mod that will completely change the way you play? Well, that’s not all. Instead, the true champion of the modding community did what no one else would have dared to do and added Bethesda’s Todd Howard to Fallout 4, which could put the RPG above New Vegas as the best in the game. Serie.
Created by dpillari, the “Todd Howard Cardboard Cutout” finally immortalizes the man with thousands of random catchphrases in Fallout 4. You can place the cutout anywhere in the game’s settlement mode, in either 2K or 4K textures. You can find Howard in the statue decorations section when you build a settlement.
The cutout even comes with two editions: a standard edition and a “just works” edition (I’m sure you have to pre-order to get it). This is a reference to Howard’s Fallout 4 presentation at E3, where he said “everything just works” when talking about the open world settlement mode.
To be honest, I don’t think mods can get any better than this. Full conversion mods like Fallout: London and Fallout: Miami are gaining traction here, do they include the Todd Howard cardboard cutout? I did not think. However, on a more serious note, these types of designs are incredible achievements and clearly show how ubiquitous and detailed mods can be; this, on the other hand, highlights how brilliantly whimsical they can be (and there’s no shadow for dpillari to model this, that’s awesome).
