Meta Quest Pro Finally here. Originally known as Project Cambria, the latest Meta VR headset is very different from the Oculus Quest 2. Released today, it’s primarily aimed at business users priced at $1,499 and more focused on the Metaverse experience and mixed reality. But if you bought it to play, you might be interested in the Quest Pro line of launch games.
Voted the best VR headset, the Meta Quest Pro comes with impressive features not found in the Quest 2 or, according to a recent leak, the Oculus Quest 3. It supports mixed reality features such as color streaming, scene awareness, general spatial anchoring and even manual tracking support. It’s no wonder some developers are taking full advantage of Quest Pro’s unique features.
As noted in a new Oculus blog post, Meta has highlighted several major apps available today that make use of these features, though it’s worth noting that each app is also on Quest 2. Notably, this includes “Hope you die: home sweet home”. , a loose adaptation of the popular spy series for virtual reality in mixed reality. There’s also Wooorld, which lets you explore global locations with friends and play mini-games.
That’s it Meta Quest pro launches games:
- arkio
- Figmin XR
- gravity sketch
- I hope you die: home sweet home
- Immersed
- Meta Horizon Work Rooms
- nanometer
- virtual reality painting
- To decide
- FormsXR
- XR Tribe
- TO TRAVEL
- World
The Quest Pro’s app list is dominated by professional apps, which will disappoint those hoping to focus more on VR gaming. While it was clear from the start that the Meta Quest Pro was first and foremost an industrial headset, Meta Connect 2022 showcased several upcoming releases. Between Iron Man VR, Among Us VR, support for Xbox Cloud Gaming, and more, it’s a promising time for VR gaming, even if it doesn’t support advanced Pro features.
