You want to know more The Witcher 4 release date? CD Projekt RED originally confirmed the existence of a new game in The Witcher series in a March 2022 press release. We have since received confirmation that the next game the first part of a new trilogy, though it’s unclear if it will follow characters and events from previous open-world games. Canis Majoris and Sirius are codenames that represent two upcoming games set in the Witcher universe. CD Projekt RED names Canis Majoris “Witcher Complete Game”which was billed as a remake of the first Witcher game.
While we don’t know much about Sirius, CD Projekt RED has confirmed that it’s being developed by The Molasses Flood, the studio behind The Flame in the Flood, a roguelike survival game, and Drake Hollow, a cooperative survival game. We’d venture to suggest that survival could potentially be the point of the game on Sirius, but that’s just a guess. Despite this, CD Projekt RED claims that Sirius “It will be different from our previous products by offering a multiplayer game mode in addition to the single player experience, including a campaign with missions and a story” which is sure to pique the interest of many longtime Witcher fans.
There isn’t much more news about The Witcher 4, but let’s focus on the positives. Despite what we were told before the game’s release, we may not have seen the end of The Witcher 3 protagonist Geralt. “We’re not killing the world or moving away from it,” Iwinski told Polygon during a tech demo in 2013, “but we really want this to be the last great game.” He added: “We could even potentially include Geralt in later games.” Any other white wolf is a win in our book.
