As if Willedor wasn’t haunted enough! Dying Light 2’s first Halloween event has already begun, and the zombie game’s post-apocalyptic city is now littered with obviously volatile pumpkin tiles with pumpkins on their heads. By hunting Pumpkin Tiles and Infected, you can earn Spirit Halloween-themed costumes and gear.
During the Halloween event, which runs from October 25 to November 4, pumpkin tokens and other enemies will drop a new currency called treats. You can take them to a new NPC vendor named Bucka the Wretched to trade fancy potions that have effects like turning his vision black and white or letting him jump absurdly high.
The event also introduces new daily and weekly bounties that you can complete to increase your rank. As you rank up, you’ll be able to purchase rubber Halloween masks, presumably to help you blend in with the number of infected roaming the city.
At the end of the Dying Light 2 Halloween event, all players will be able to receive a free set of cosmetics called Dying Laugh. This is a scary clown costume, glider, and weapon that will be available on Steam, the Microsoft Store, and the Epic Games Store for PC gamers. This pack will be available for free from November 3 to 10.
