The Cult of the Lamb Halloween event kicks off today, because if there’s one indie game that knows what Halloween is, it’s Cult of the Lamb. In this limited-time event, you’ll be able to perform a new kind of ritual that will literally bring your dead followers back like wandering ghosts in a delightfully twisted little game of (the afterlife).

The Blood Moon Festival, as Halloween is called, will last until November 10. At this time, you will be able to perform the Blood Moon Ritual at your temple. This ritual will bring back the spirits of your beloved devotees who will return to the world of the living in the form of enchanting ghosts.

You will need to grow and harvest pumpkins to complete the ritual, so start planting as soon as possible. You’ll also need to capture the spirits of your followers before returning them to their ghost form, so keep an eye out for any poltergeist activity around your settlement.

The festival also introduces three new subscription forms to unlock, four new decorations for your base, and a catchy new music track for your adoration.

Check out our Cult of the Lamb bosses guide if you keep making your way through its intricate gallery of bishops.
