Last Saturday, October 15, the final of the LBFF, the Brazilian Free Fire league, took place. The main teams in Brazil are participating in the tournament, and the winner at the time was Vivo Keyd, who guaranteed himself a place in the World Championship in this category, the event most desired by the players. In a special broadcast of the event, CB, digital leader from Casas Bahia, hosted a series of interactive promotions designed by VMLY&R, including a product placement with exclusive offers for gamers who watched it live.

CB also joined the cast of hosts and became a commentator trainee. During one of the “falls”, as the Free Fire match is known, CB was next to Nobru, one of the biggest names in the script, to commentate on everything that happens in the game in real time.

CB’s participation in the LBFF finals is part of the massive Casas Bahia project with VMLY&R and 3C Gaming in the gaming universe. The virtual influencer is becoming more and more anchored in the script, spending a fortnightly life with other influencers from Fluxo, an organization created by Bruno “Nobrou” Gous and run by 3C Gaming.

CB goes to the big players

“CB is a project we work on with a lot of love, he was the first virtual influencer to become a streamer, the first to have a verified in-game profile, and now he commentates and interviews at the biggest Free Fire championship in Brazil. It’s great to see who he has become and the result of our project,” comments Para Paulo Aguiar, Commercial Director of 3C Gaming.

CB was also responsible for interviewing TSM team player Raone, who was selected as the opener of the season. Watch here from 37 minutes: link

“We have been working for a long time to make Casas Bahia the retail brand that best suits the gaming audience. And this could not be done with traditional actions, in traditional formats. With CB, we are organically and always innovative in this matter, bringing a legitimate reputation in this universe to him and the brand. CB is a gamer, he is a streamer, he is a commentator and he will be something more,” says Thiago Barreto, creative director of VMLY&R.

CB is increasingly solidifying its position as an influencer in the world of gamers. In February of this year, he already made his debut as a streamer in the metaverse, playing alongside Nobra, who at the time encouraged the presence of the Casas Bahia brand on live streams to bring the brand closer to a younger audience.

“We are proud to have CB in the Free Fire Finals. His presence at one of the biggest gaming events in the world highlights our role as CB’s digital influencer and streamer for gamers, solidifying our brand’s presence in this universe, and the result of an important partnership with 3C and VMLY&R agency that makes this project a reality. Together, we have reached a new level of engagement with a young gaming audience, a segment in which we will continue to invest even more through promotions like this,” said Gabriel Lima Ribeiro, Via Marketing Manager.
