Valorant Harbor Revealed As Agent 21: Abilities, Release Date

Harbor, a new agent joining Valorant, is winning the hearts of gamers around the world. This is an Indian controller that may be pleasing to the eye but looks like a force of nature on the battlefield in an FPS game. The lovable treasure hunter’s water-based abilities are perfect for splitting the map in half, so here’s a full rundown of what he’s useful for and when he’ll be released.

Harbor is the fifth Controlling Agent added to the game, leveling up the roster a bit and adding another option for players who like backline shenanigans (aka me). His kit shares similarities with other Astra and Viper controllers, and it looks like he’ll be incredibly powerful in the post-plant phase of the game.

Brave Harbor: Skills

Harbor’s abilities are tied to plot control. Her E, or her signature ability, works much like the Viper’s Toxic Shield, only those who go through the wall or get hit while she’s up will be slowed instead of intoxicated.

Her Q, Cove, is where the resemblance to Astra comes into play. Harbor can cast a protective water orb, which is perfect for stealth crippling. Also, throw it in the middle of a particularly nasty team fight and hopefully you can save your team from getting wiped out. His C ability, Cascade, fires a wave of water that slows enemies on impact, but it’s his ultimate that really is the star of the show.

The port, called Reckoning, releases a geyser that, if you’re unlucky enough to touch it, unleashes a series of airstrikes on enemies. shocked

So, to recap:

  • Tide (E): Equip with a water wall. Fire to move water on earth. Hold fire to direct water in the direction of your crosshairs as you travel the world, creating a wall in the water’s path. Alternate the fire by leaning in to stop the water earlier. Affected players are slowed
  • Bay (Q): Equip a protective sphere of water. Throwing fire. Alternate shot for a sneaky shot. On impact with the ground, it creates a water shield that blocks bullets.
  • Cascade (C): Equip a wave of water. Shoot to send a wave forward and through walls. Use it repeatedly to stop the movement of waves. Affected players are slowed.
  • Calculation (X): Use the full power of your artifact. Fire to summon a geyser on the ground. Enemy players in the area become the target of successive geyser attacks. Players caught in the impact zone receive a concussion.

Needless to say, all of Harbor’s abilities are pretty strong. It’s nice to weave them together, she seems like she’ll let you kill easily, and Cove is the ability that stands out to me as the heart of it all. Perfect for post planting, general spike planting and breaking up team fights, it will be great.
