DecemberNeeds Games’ recently released free action role-playing game gets the classics bombardment of negative reviews because of its system earning money, described by players as too greedy. The game currently has 547 reviews, of which only 27% are positive.
As stated earlier, the reasons for the criticisms are more or less the same: i Price:%s For example, as read in the review by tiamats4esgares, one of the most popular microtransactions:
“The store’s prices are insane. You can buy just three stash tabs on offer for $45!!!! You get a lot more in PoE (Path of Exile Ed) for just $20. Purchases because there are a million entries you need them at some point Useless junk rewards that take up space in your inventory because you think you might hear them.
But to have a pet for auto loot and auto harvest (you don’t have to go back to town every 5 seconds given the limited space in your inventory) you’ll have to spend $10 a month.
Pretend it doesn’t exist and go play PoE.”
There are even those who compare December to the benchmark of the genre in terms of the greed of microtransactions, such as user doomhephasto:
“It’s almost entirely shop-based. It looks like a Diablo Immoral clone (Ed is a game with Diablo Immortal, of course).”
In short, public reactions to December are semi-catastrophes for now. We hope the game will recover with some updates.
