Founded in 2019, Israeli esports organization Finest Esports is closing its doors.. The decision was made after some investors decided not to invest further. The reason for this step back is the global “macroeconomic situation”. This is the official statement:
“His heart is heavy, but after nearly two years of successful esports activity and the building of the Finest brand and community, we are closing our professional esports operations.
This was not the decision we expected a couple of weeks ago, but one that was forced on us after some key investors withdrew from further investment in the company. This is all because of the macroeconomic situation the world is currently facing and the fact that owning an esports team is still a very speculative investment.
We want to thank our team that has worked hard and made concrete progress towards building the Finest brand. The achievements and successes that we have achieved as a team are due to your collective hard work, and we want to thank them and appreciate all your efforts and hard work.
We deeply apologize for this unfortunate ending and also want to thank our dedicated fans who have supported us since the first day of our trip. However, we are not giving up yet and Finest intends to continue in gaming and esports and will move towards technology, products and services.”
Best esportshad competitive roles in VALORANT, CS:GO and sim racing.
