Intel Arc A7 GPU Review: Our Review of Critics’ Scores

Intel Arc A7 GPU reviews are piling up ahead of the graphics cards release date, and there’s only a week left until you can get your hands on the Alchemist pixel pusher for your gaming PC. The blue team has shared many internal benchmarks highlighting the performance of their competitor Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060, now we can see how well their claims stand up to scrutiny.

The Intel Arc A7 GPU, whether it’s the A770 or A750, could be the best graphics card for those who don’t want to spend an obscene amount of money on a new pixel processor. It’s unlikely we’ll see cheap RTX 4000-series offerings this year, but Alchemist could face competition from AMD’s RDNA 3 rivals in the coming months.

If you’re considering buying a Team Blue GPU, just make sure you meet the Intel Arc A7 system requirements. Unlike other graphics cards, you’ll need a fairly modern processor to get good performance out of Alchemist.

Without further ado, let’s take a look at these Intel Arc A7 GPU reviews:

Everyone seems to agree that the Intel Arc A7 series is basically a solid budget offering, falling short of the Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 and AMD Radeon 6600. However, its performance can vary significantly depending on the API used in certain games. DirectX 12 and Vulkan work better, while DirectX 11 can suffer.
