An official release date has yet to be announced. Honkai Star Rail is the next game in the Honkai series that Hoyoverse will release on consoles, mobile phones and PC, continuing the story of these characters. In the demo we played, the Armor (in its adult version) was present along with other well-known Honkai players such as Himeko and Sile, but Mei and Qiyana were absent (yet…maybe).

Unlike Genshin or Honkai Impact, Honkai Star Rail is a turn-based RPG with groups of up to four characters waiting for their turn to act. Success or failure in attacks is determined by attributes and statistics. The graphics are very similar to Genshin Impact, and if you pay attention to the huge Victorian city the characters are in, you’ll see kids running around, people talking, and even some familiar NPCs. If you manage to get to him before his distrust meter goes into combat readiness, you can hit him and automatically gain combat initiative. The enemies I encountered along the way weren’t dangerous, so winning or losing initiative didn’t matter much. Perhaps in the future they will become more complex, and it will be necessary to create strategies to fight, but at the moment it was just for fun.
An interesting detail that may or may not point to a release date is a location called “Fight Club”, which is projected to open in about 930 days, which we can say will happen in about 2 years.
So, is it possible that Honkai Star Rail will come out late next or early 2025? You can’t be sure, but the demo shows a fully finished and functional game. There is no reason why the launch was taking so long, and the date could just be a random number placed there to indicate that it’s better not to just sit back and wait for Fight Club to open.
