It’s called “Necromancy” and it allows various factions in the strategy game’s Immortal Empires campaign to recruit units they’ve killed in battle as skeletons into their armies.

Modder All is Dust says that the new rental mechanic works like this: when you kill a unit in combat, the bones from that unit are added to the resource pool. Then in Funeral Cult you can spend that bone pool to resurrect the appropriate type of unit, so dragon bones allow you to resurrect dragons, orc bones allow you to resurrect orcs. Once the units have been skeletonized in this way, you can recruit them into your armies from the glory regiments pool.
However, you don’t have to collect all your bones in battle – a new stance called “dig skeletons” is included in the mod, and when your army goes into this stance, you have a chance to dig up something valuable every turn. bones.
All is Dust says that they still have quite a few creatures to add to the mod: they still need to create models for gnoblars, boars, bears, lizards, bats, fimirs, skaven and other Warhammer denizens. But already an impressive selection is included, and everyone is more than happy to go to war (again) as skeletal quacks.
