Genshin Impact prices may increase in the near future

HoYoverse said that the current prices for Genshin Impact will be adjusted for more than ten countries around the world. So far, the developer has listed Chile, Egypt, Japan, Malaysia, Pakistan, Poland, South Korea, Sweden, and Vietnam as countries affected by the new price of in-game RPG items. also see changes, which implies that there are more European countries in the list than those mentioned.

This news is taken from the official HoYoLAB blog post, in which HoYovere briefly describes the situation, but the short post does not provide much detail. For example, we don’t know for sure whether prices are going up or down, although I guess it’s the former.

Players from the affected countries shared their thoughts in the comments section of the post, and for the most part, they seem more confused than anything else. In addition to the lack of price numbers, some of the most popular comments mention how HoYoverse chose to share this information without changing the time or date. The statement is also completely missing from his official Twitter account.

At this point, all we know for sure is that the price changes are due to “recent platform price adjustments.”

Also, there may be a slight delay in the visual updating of price changes, which creates another problem. You won’t immediately know how much you’re spending when you choose an in-game item to buy. You will need to verify the actual cost of your purchase on the transaction page.

For now, players in these regions are better off redeeming all Genshin Impact codes for Genshin Impact version 3.1 before spending any money. Fortunately, version 3.1 adds new Genshin Impact events to play through, birthday rewards to collect, and more areas to explore.
