Blizzard finally announced the release date for World of Warcraft Dragonflight in a new blog post featuring the Dragonflight trailer. The new expansion for the years-old MMO game will be released on November 28 and will take players to the House of Dragons, hence the name, where many magical secrets and intrigue await.
The Dragon Isles are home to four distinct areas: Waking Shores, an area filled with elemental power; the vast open plains of On’aran; the cold mountains of Azure Span; and the majestic towers and temples of Taldras. Blizzard said that each zone focuses on a different aspect of dragons and will reveal more secrets about legendary creatures as you delve deeper into their secrets.
In addition to the class tweaks and upgrades, Dragonflight adds a new race/class combo: the Dracthyr Evoker. This unique class summons Forbidden Reach and specializes in both ranged attacks and supporting allies.
This isn’t the only change to the dragon theme in Dragonflight. As you progress through the expansion, you’ll be able to customize the new dragon mount and even upgrade its abilities, allowing it to fly higher and farther.
All of this is on top of the usual stuff you’d expect from a new World of Warcraft expansion, like new dungeons, new raids, and lots of talent and combat system tweaks. And if you’re looking to level up a new character quickly, Dragonflight will bring back the Winds of Wisdom perk, giving you 50% more experience than normal.
