Total Warhammer 3 Update 2.2 Will Add New Skaven Endgame Crisis

The next patch for Total War: Warhammer 3 is coming on October 18, and when it does, you can expect another potential final crisis for Immortal Empires’ grand unified campaign. Creative Assembly has hinted that the next fantasy strategy world doomsday scenario will feature the Skaven, which may be how the Warhammer world ended canonically a few years ago.

In the Total War: Warhammer III 2.1.2 patch 2.1.2 patch notes, Creative Assembly notes that they plan to release update 2.2 on October 18 and provides a basic list of changes we can expect with this fix. For example, it should fix a crash at the end of the round and make any necessary improvements to enemy AI and colony battles.

It also indicates that the patch will include a new endgame crisis and, as a side note to this point, a “yes-yes” definitely Skaven will be included.

For those unfamiliar with Immortal Empires, when you start a new campaign you have the option to select one or more endgame scenarios that will play out at certain points in your game. All are based on interesting elements from the Warhammer End Times story: Black Pyramid, Spite Too Far, Greatest Waagh!, Wild Hunt and Vampiric Ascension are now available as options.

In general, Immortal Empires chooses one of the crises of your choice to determine the end of your campaign. However, you can also select “marginal crisis mode” which makes each crisis trigger selected together at the end of your game.

Now, in Games Workshop’s official Warhammer lore, the Old World has come to an end, and the Skaven helped bring about this apocalypse, essentially exploding the moon and crashing warpstone-filled asteroids into the planet (destroying the planet ). most of the lizardmen are in progress).

It’s not hard to imagine such a scenario in Immortal Empires: warpstone asteroids can mechanically appear as demonic portals in Total Warhammer III’s Realms of Chaos campaign.

Either way, we’ll know more when Update 2.2 is released next month.
