Wargaming, developer and publisher from the naval combat MMO World of Warships celebrates the scariest time of the year in its console version of World of Warships: Legends. The main theme of this update is a three-week Halloween event that offers a variety of “treat and no treat”, as well as new researchable German battleships, a five-week campaign, and a new legendary project in the Department.

The three-week Light in the Dark ’22 event kicks off bizarre festivities with a co-op battle against AI to defeat the legendary Rasputin. From October 17 to November 7, the event offers impressive rewards, including the coveted Tier V Community Premium Cruiser Perth.
Alternative German battleships are making waves
After the introduction of the “Crème de la Crème” line featuring Prinz Rupprecht Tier VIII, this new line of German battleships has been completed and can now be researched by all players. The range of five Tier 4 and above ships features unique gameplay patterns, including enhanced battery packs. Other special secondary items include a quick reload damage control group, as well as Sonar consumables for higher tier ships.
Five-week campaign for the fearsome cruiser
Another campaign is coming to World of Warships: Legends, during which players will receive the best Tier VIII cruiser. Possessing the most powerful guns among all cruisers of this tier, as well as a large margin of safety and reliable defensive characteristics, the ship will become a worthy addition to any fleet. However, the ship has its drawbacks as it lacks speed and maneuverability. The campaign follows the classic five-week format of 100 milestones, and comes with cooldown mechanics and Heroic Endeavor missions.
The legendary Bourgogne arrives at the Department
Completing this update is a new addition to the Marine Nationale: the legendary Bourgogne tier vessel. It is the fastest battleship at the highest tier in the game, and it uses this advantage with the Main Battery Reload Boost and Fast & Furious consumables. Able to move quickly around the map and maintain a high rate of fire against enemy ships, the Bourgogne is a worthy Department project and can be purchased from the shop.
