Nvidia RTX 4000 GPU features arrive with Windows 11 patch

The Nvidia GeForce Experience update is out and includes the Windows 11 22H2 patch and some brilliant new RTX 4000 Shadowplay tricks. The new driver follows a wave of gaming PC performance issues caused by the release of Microsoft’s operating system, but will also lay the groundwork for next-gen graphics card functionality.

According to Nvidia, GeForce Experience 3.26 packages RTH4000 Shadowplay features improve the performance of Windows 11 22H2 and fix various bugs. Updating to the latest software should alleviate your OS stuttering issues, helping you get better frame rates and better gaming performance.

While GeForce GPU owners will immediately benefit from the patch, the aforementioned RTX 4000 upgrade will make it easier to record 8K 60fps HDR Shadowplay. Naturally, we have to wait for the RTX 4090 before this feature becomes available, as the current best graphics card configuration is capped at 30fps when shooting beyond 4K.

Nvidia says the new Shadowplay update will roll out to “RTX 40-class graphics cards,” so we expect it to roll out to the RTX 4090, both versions of the RTX 4080, and the unannounced RTX 4070. final cards may have a hard time reaching the loft.
