The DioField in question is actually your home for the duration of the game, as your beloved island of DioField has been plunged into an age of darkness and uncertainty. Colonial attention from distant powers and reliance on modern magic combine to create a tense and volatile atmosphere steeped in the spirit of war. After 200 years of peace and prosperity in the kingdom of Allethane under the rule of the Shaytham dynasty, things have turned ugly for the island and its people.
This is due in part to the rich vein of Jade found in the Kingdom, a precious and useful mineral coveted by wizards and sorcerers. This caught the attention of the Shevian Empire and the Rowtale Alliance, two powerful organizations that have sinister machinations for the lowly kingdom.
Players will be thrown into this magnificent tapestry of medieval, fantasy, and modern ideas and will be tasked with being its savior. As the Blue Foxes, an elite group of mercenaries, you must manage a diverse cast of skilled agents fighting for freedom and justice across the country.
historical tension
Diofield Island is the sixth largest island in the world: far from being a small offshoot, this great mass is littered with the remains of an ancient race called the Argus who inhabited its lands long before humanity arrived. Middenfield is the political heart and figurative soul of the island, home to the royal capital of Allethane and Granwell Cathedral, while the rest of the island is divided into north, south, east and west regions, all with different cultures and peculiarities.
Outside of these regions, there are three main factions to watch out for as you delve deeper into the game: The Kingdom of Alletain is the unifying force on the island, which is separated from the mainland of Rowtail by a strip of ocean. For 200 years, his rule was minimal and peaceful. Therein lies his devotion.
The other two factions are the all-powerful Shevian Empire of the Continent, whose reputation is stained with the blood of war and who have set their sights on the island of DioField for its abundance of jade, and the Rowetail Alliance, a union of nations. in Rowtail Mainland, who have reached a stalemate in their war with the Empire and know that Jade’s magic could hold the key to victory.
Welcome
One of the best elements of any narrative game is, without a doubt, the characters. They cover the rules and lore of the world around us, giving us a tangible reference, rather than endless volumes of prose to read that can leave the player indifferent. In The DioField Chronicle, you will soon be enveloped in the warmth of the various, very British characters.
Blue foxes are made up of four heads, a diverse group with different skills and abilities. Andrias Rondarson is a scruffy young soldier, bodyguard to the fourth in line to the throne of the Sheitem dynasty. He is a cold-blooded, calm and resourceful leader, able to stay several steps ahead of the enemy and well versed in ancient sorcery. As the character you’ll be controlling for most of the game, you’ll get to know Rias pretty quickly.
Fredret Lester is the second leader of the Blue Foxes to have a brotherly bond with Andrias due to the situations where the couple’s lives have been in danger since they were young. He is a deeply kind and honest person, but can sometimes be naive or obsessed with his own passions. With a background in infantry and horsemanship, he can be a fit addition to any team.

Iscarion Colchester is the son of a minor nobleman and the third leader of the Blue Foxes. He is aloof and tends to avoid others, but he will never ignore someone in need. His main talent is archery, which he perfected as a mercenary.
Waltakin Redditch is the fourth headwoman and a respected noblewoman of the House of Redditch. She is prone to her arrogance and selfishness, she atones for her guilt with her grace and intelligence, which allowed her to immerse herself in magical arts.
As you travel through the Realm, you’ll encounter hundreds of other characters, friends and foes alike, and more of the Blue Foxes will soon prove their worth in battle.
The gritty, compelling, and beautiful plot of The DioField Chronicle is best revealed in the game itself. Check it out now with the standard or premium version on PC via Steam.
