Diablo Immortal Patch 1.6, the game’s first major update, now has a release date: September 28. That’s when the controversial RPG will see the addition of several new features and system changes, including a new home for your team.
As recent Diablo Immortal leaks have shown, Diablo Immortal’s first major update includes a new boss, Helliquary, the game’s fifth, ready to take on only the hardiest of adventurers starting October 2.”
As Blizzard has already confirmed, warbands will be getting some attention in this upcoming update. In addition to relaxing some player count requirements for some quests, the update replaces squad camps with a new squad HQ in Sairangar Castle.
Castle Cyrangar, individual squad members can take on Scouring the Deep, allowing them to develop their characters and find special “scraps” that can be placed in new squad rooms, where they will grant buffs to all the worlds within. Squads can also work together to participate in the new Sirangar Defense, which offers new rewards in exchange for fighting waves of demonic enemies.
As we previously reported, a new Silent Monastery dungeon will be found on Mount Zavain, and Blizzard says you’ll need to find light sources to traverse the dungeon’s dark corridors that are “shrouded in eternal night.”
Once the update goes live on September 28, get ready for the Season 5 Battle Pass: Scions of the Storm starting on September 29. You can look forward to updated challenges, new rewards, and new cosmetics with this new seasonal progression channel.
