Released today, Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 4: Paradise from Epic Games introduced Chrome to a multiplayer game, a devouring substance that threatens the safety of the island.
The update will allow you to chrome yourself, buildings, and weapons, which will affect the game and the island in different ways. A splash of chrome can be thrown at a wall so you can dash through it, while a self-cast will turn it into chrome and allow you to run faster, air dash, and even dash into buildings to cross them.
Chrome Weapons can also be found in Chrome Chests, which will increase in rarity as you deal damage to enemies. There is also a new building in the Herald Shrine, which is next to the abandoned shrine on the island.
