Now that the fourth season of Chapter 3 is underway, the island of the battle royale game is slowly being absorbed by an all-consuming metallic liquid known only as Chromium. Alongside the massive changes to the Fortnite map, the start of the new season also marks an update to the weapons on offer.
The new Fortnite weapons are EvoChrome variants of rifles and shotguns. They are unique in that you level up by damaging enemies, be they animals, NPCs, or other players. Some of the returning weapons and items are fan favorites, while others may be happy to see a super-powered weapon or two finally in storage.
