A major GTA 6 gameplay leak is making the rounds online as gamers are still eagerly awaiting any official news about the sequel to one of the greatest open world games of all time. While the images look impressive and some of them even match previous leaks, it is currently impossible to know how legitimate the massive leak is.
We’ve reached out to Rockstar Games for comment on this alleged GTA 6 gameplay leak, as the developer has yet to issue an official response to the images circulating.
The leaks appear to have started this morning when a GTAForums user shared 90 individual videos and clips for GTA 6 saying “Maybe I’ll be able to leak more GTA 5 and 6 data, source code and assets soon. Testing GTA 6 version.”
This video has now gone viral on the internet, showing off two playable characters that match the Bonnie and Clyde-inspired duo that Bloomberg reported on earlier this year. Some images even show a police car with a VCPD, which could mean the Vice City Police Department, confirming reports that GTA 6 will return to Vice City.
The reaction to the footage online is understandably questionable as to its legitimacy, but if the footage is fake and something of a mod for GTA 5, then it has been carefully crafted to the point where the work itself is impressive enough to to deserve the attention it pays. . receives in the present tense. .
Journalist Jason Schreier added: Twitter that “given the scale, it’s hard to imagine it’s not real. Also, the two lead characters and Vice City are consistent with what I reported earlier this year.”
If the images are real, please note that they do not represent the final product. GTA 6 is probably still a long way off and the footage will be from previous versions of the game, so keep in mind that what you’re seeing online now is not the game you’ll get in a few years.
Teapotuberhacker also said that he was the person responsible for the Uber hack earlier this week. The hacker told The New York Times that he gained access to Uber’s internal communications platform, Slack, after contacting an Uber employee via text message posing as “an IT professional.”
While we all wait to find out how legit these images are and what Rockstar has to say in response, we’ve got everything you need to know about the GTA 6 release date, rumours, news and more.
