However, fans of Riot’s tactical shooter are divided on the map’s features. Pearl is a two-lot, three-lane map that is a throwback to a more traditional map layout after Riot devs experimented with layout options for Icebox and Fracture.
Despite a return to the basic layout, the two-segment map has caused friction between players, as its central corridors can be incredibly foggy and its long sections can be quite difficult for defenders and attackers to navigate.
