Nvidia just shared another RTH4000 teaser, but the latest Project Beyond clue is more confusing than the last. This time around, the GPU giant’s cryptic marketing is a strange pyramid that looks more like a Sith holocron from Star Wars than any other gaming PC tech.
A new twelve-second Nvidia RTX 4000 GPU trailer uses a small pyramid of light placed on the gaming table to create excitement. The ominous clip fuels the futuristic vibe of the Project Beyond campaign, but it could also be a sign that the event will cover more than just the green team’s best plans for graphics cards.
Nvidia’s teasers have an unusual feel to them, so it seems like they’re setting us up for something ambitious. While next-gen graphics cards like the RTX 4090 can improve best gaming pc built ten times, the next GeForce event could take us beyond the realm of hardware.
Before you get too excited, we’re not saying Light Prism is actually real. The pyramid may not be a product per se, but Nvidia’s way of making fun of cloud services like GeForce Now, an RTX-based streaming service that now provides access to more than 1,400 games.
Naturally, there’s more to this cryptic graphics card puzzle than meets the eye, and an earlier clip posted via Nvidia Russia the account effectively validates Ada Lovelace’s enterprise architecture.
The short video looks almost exactly like the one posted by the UK social media team, but includes a “Bernoulli Numeric Engine Calculation Diagram” (via Videocardz). If you like the history of technology, you will know that this is the same diagram created by inventor Ada Lovelace in 1843, which serves as a reference for an unannounced graphics platform.
If you don’t want to solve the encrypted GPU easter eggs, you’ll be happy to hear that Nvidia is set to reveal its RTX 4000 plans on September 20. RTX 4090 GPUs are rumored to arrive in October, followed by RTX 4080 variants in November, but you’ll have to wait until the holiday season and beyond to get your hands on an RTX 4070 or RTX 4060. Whether that’s true remains to be seen. And we don’t have to wait long to find out.
