The Disney Dreamlight Valley glitch reveals that the algae may not always be greener in a strange lake, as Ariel is submerged while Elsa watches in horror. However, the Little Mermaid doesn’t seem overly concerned, at least not enough to stop brushing her hair. However, this strange life simulation bug is not the only one plaguing players lately.
Disney Dreamlight Valley was very well received: the life simulation allowed people to live their dream and become the center of attention in a city full of Disney celebrities. Wake up in the morning, bake Mickey Mouse waffles, then go fishing with Goofy while trying to avoid Scrooge McDuck’s gaze – it’s all par for the course in the valley.
There have been quite a few bugs in the title since its release, in particular the fire extinguisher disappearing from your inventory during the search for WALL-E, creating a dangerous work environment for everyone involved. This last glitch, however, shows Ariel half-buried in the ground, trying to tame her sea salt-soaked hair. The player character and Elsa look on with a sense of bewilderment, which is remarkable in itself considering that the population of Dreamlight Valley currently consists primarily of talking animals.
A comment below the Reddit post shows some concern about The Little Mermaid’s extracurricular activities: “Elsa is so… Ariel, are you okay? Maybe get rid of the algae for a while. All I know is that if I were to communicate with a rat that talks every day of my life, I would probably find solace on earth too.
