The Warzone metagame could face some disruption due to the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare SMG, which combined with the blueprint arguably makes Raven Software and Activision’s Battle Royale FPS “a little P2W.”
Blueprints in Warzone essentially provide quick access to higher tier weapons with more complex attachments, allowing players who purchase them with in-game CP currency to access weapons with attachments already installed, rather than having to unlock and attach each attachment separately. CP can be earned by completing Warzone Battle Pass missions, which themselves must be purchased with CP, or by purchasing currency directly with real money.
Warzone Season 5 allows players to use CP to purchase the Tracer Pack: Shadow, which comes with a new player card, emblem, and two weapon blueprints. One of them, the Banisher, adds a command grip and 10mm Auto 30 magazines to the beefy MP5 machine gun. While the blueprints are not intended to increase the weapon’s damage or time-to-kill (TTK) stats, the Banisher MP5 appears to be more powerful than the base weapon.
A Warzone Symthic statistician has shared a video comparing two headshots, one taken with a vanilla MP5 and the other with a Banisher. While the base weapon deals 45 damage, the Banisher deals 49 damage, a small but significant increase, especially in the fast-paced and highly competitive world of Warzone.
#Modern war MP5 could be a bit P2W…
👉Some blueprints like Banisher and Ultimatum have OVER 10MM DAMAGE per #war zonefor lower average TTKs on your first damage range!

Since the Banisher can only be obtained by spending CP, and CP is easier to acquire with real money, Symthic describes this weapon, which is based on the weapon from the 2019 Modern Warfare reboot, as “a little P2W.”
“Modern Warfare MP5 might be a bit P2W,” they write. “Some blueprints like Banisher and Ultimatum have 10mm higher Warzone damage for lower average TTKs in their first damage range.” Ultimatum is another project also available for MP5. As Charlie Intel originally reported, this isn’t the first time weapon blueprints have potentially offered a paid perk in Warzone, as the MAC-10 and XM4 have also seen blueprint damage increase in the past, though this was removed. later via patches.
