Ross has led the Microsoft Halo team since 2007, when Ross helped form 343 Industries to purchase the Halo franchise from Bungie, which originally created the Halo series and spun off from Microsoft.
By then, Ross had been at Microsoft for 13 years, contributing to series like Gears of War, Alan Wake and more, according to Windows Central.
