Assassin’s Creed Infinity It was mentioned by Ubisoft during its 15th anniversary celebration event and it’s sort of centre oriented put together all the episodes of the seriesalthough it is not yet clear exactly what it is.
During the presentation, Ubisoft Quebec executive producer Marc-Alexis Cote also spoke about Assassin’s Creed Infinity, confirming that it is a kind of hub that intends to somehow bring all the episodes of the long series together.
The idea is that a platform dedicated to the communityas reported by the developers.
“Infinity is not a game in itself,” the producer explained, “it will be the only entry point into the Assassin’s Creed franchise for our fans in the future.” The idea is to reproduce a littleanimusor some kind of “time machine” that can quickly transport us from one era to another, from one episode of Assassin’s Creed to another.
“Infinity will be a hub that will bring all the different experiences and our players together in meaningful ways,” developer Ubisoft said. It is not yet clear how this link between players in the community works, but Ubisoft has specifically touched on the possible possibilities of introducing multiplayer modes within Assassin’s Creed Infinity.
As such, Infinity will not be a new episode in the series, but rather a kind of platform aimed at incorporating diverse experiences and connecting community players, as it turns out when we talk about the series’ live service platform. Assassin’s Creed Mirage, Assassin’s Creed: Codename Jade, Assassin’s Creed: Codename Red and Assassin’s Creed: Codename Hexe were also presented at the same event.
