Assassin’s Creed: Codename Jade announced, an open world for mobile set in China

On the occasion of the fifteen-year celebration event Assassin’s CreedUbisoft announced code name JadeThe first Assassin’s Creed open world built specifically for mobile devices and was founded in China. The announcement was accompanied by an official trailer, which you can view in the player below.

The project was announced by Marc-Alexis Côté, creative director of Assassin’s Creed Syndicate and producer of Odyssey. According to his words, Codename Jade will offer all the game mechanics characteristic of the series but optimized specifically for the use of iOS and Android mobile devices and touchscreen controls.

As we can see from the first official trailer, Codename Jade is featured in the series. ancient china 215 BC Côté also announced that it will be the first game in the series where players can create their own characters.

No further details have been disclosed for now, including the release date. In any case, the words “coming soon” at the end of the trailer suggest we won’t have to wait long to learn more details about this ambitious project from the French publisher.
