Disney Dreamlight Valley’s system requirements match the carefree nature of the game, and you won’t need the best graphics card to immerse yourself in your Life Sim adventure. Gameloft developers say it will even run on 14+ year old Nvidia GPUs, so you can play Mickey, Donald and Goofy on the cheapest versions of gaming PCs.
According to the Disney Dreamlight Valley system requirements, the fantasy farm game requires at least a GPU comparable to the Nvidia GeForce 9600 GT, a 512MB card that debuted in 2008. On eBay for $5, meet the requirements Gameloft minimums shouldn’t be a problem. However, if you’d rather bump up the framerate and help out the adventure cast, you’ll need to upgrade to a GTX 960 or AMD Radeon R9 380.

You may not even need a GPU to play Disney Dreamlight Valley, as you can even play No Man’s Sky without a graphics card. The same goes for recent releases like Spider-Man Remastered and Saints Row, but it all comes down to whether the CPU’s integrated graphics will mesh well with Gameloft’s causal character.
Dreamlight Valley is not very demanding on RAM for gaming, consuming only 6 GB of memory. The fact that this applies to both the minimum and recommended system requirements will help the game run on older platforms, gaming laptops, or even that $30 buildable Steam Deck alternative.

Valve has yet to officially confirm Steam Deck compatibility with Disney Dreamlight Valley, but the Life game will run on a portable power plant.
