For most players, Full Moon Queen Renala will be the second demigod to defeat the Lord on her way to becoming a Lord. He may not have the raw strength of Godrick, but he has a little trick in his fight that can make players accustomed to the simpler battles Elden Ring has ever offered. Here’s how to beat it.
The first thing you notice when fighting Renala is that you can’t take her down right away – she’s floating above the ground in a golden bubble that protects her from damage. To kill him, you must bring him back to earth.
For this you will have to pay attention to the clues in the game. Trample its crawling minions and look for one that shines with gold similar to Renala. You can also find this minion by listening to the lullaby song on the way to the critical minion.
Kill this shiny minion and the new one will start to glow and sing. Repeat twice and Renala will fall from the sky and you can cry over her until she swims again. Repeat this process until you reach HP and proceed to the second phase of the battle.
In the second stage, Renala becomes much more active. He will cast spells on you and summon ghostly enemies to fight and distract you. Most of the time, you should be able to avoid these ghosts and focus on killing Renala – the faster you finish the battle, the less chance you have of defeating summoned enemies. Moreover, most of them disappear quite quickly on their own.
Swinging Rennala is also quite easy, so you shouldn’t have too much trouble with chain attacks.
Keep going long enough and you’ll defeat the Full Moon Queen and get closer to redecorating the Elden Ring.
