With Hogwarts Legacy only months away from the release, fans are eager to find out how the house sorting process will unfold.
Hogwarts Legacy, the game published by J. Warner Brothers Interactive in the Wizarding World of the 1800s, is something of a prequel to the events of Rowling’s books. Although the events of the game do not originate from his writings, they are “rooted in his magical world”.

Choosing a house at Hogwarts is an important decision. For fans of the next game, it shouldn’t be as stressful as Harry Potter’s ordeal with the Sorting Hat.
To begin the house sorting process, aspiring wizards should visit the Wizarding World website. The Sorting Hat will conduct an extensive personality survey before deciding which House to place the player in. In a similar process, wizards and witches are chosen with their wands.
All quiz data will be incorporated into the Hogwarts Legacy game when released through the player’s Warner Brother account. Fans worried about being drafted where they don’t fit should know that, much like the book series, the rating cap determines the player’s choice. Or as a workaround, there is no rule against creating multiple accounts in the tests.
Hogwarts Legacy will be released for PlayStation, Xbox, and PC on February 10, 2023. At the time of this article, the Nintendo Switch launch date has yet to be announced.
