While a variety of new items will be added to Rocket League when its eighth season launches on September 7, items from previous seasons such as Shade Raid Goal Explosion remain popular and highly desirable. Reminiscent of an old-school comic book, this collection temporarily removes color from the area around the castle for a dark look.
First introduced to the game on March 10, the Shade Raid Goal Explosion is a purely cosmetic item and is primarily available in the Season Six Fornax Series blueprint.
Blueprints can be obtained randomly in-game after each match. If accepted, the draft shows an item added to the player’s inventory. The item can then be exchanged with the build fee. There are currently four contextual Blueprint series:

It is classified as black market in terms of rarity. With a 1% drop chance, this class of items is considered the rarest and most valuable in the game.
Players with a lucky friend can also purchase an item through Rocket League’s online trading feature. Friends on the same platform can freely exchange items and credits with each other. Under a reciprocal agreement, players can trade anything from revealed blueprints to Rocket Pass items.
Players without the patience or luck of a friend can earn an item by trading in the Item Shop for five Exotic blueprints from the same series. There are two Exotic items in the Fornax line, so replicas are needed to get the Shadow Raid blast.
