Microsoft has officially announced that Games with Gold from September 2022: I free games offered to subscribers Xbox LIVE Gold In the next few days they will be:
- Gods Will Fall, available for download September 1-30
- Double Kick Heroes available to download from September 16 to October 15
- Thrillville is available for download September 1-15
- Portal 2 is available for download September 16-30
After Games With Gold with Calico and ScourgeBringer in August, Microsoft’s subscription service is gearing up to involve us in the extraordinary adventure of Valve action puzzle and Clever Beans dungeon crawler.
Able to sell four million copies at launch, Portal 2 undoubtedly stands as the highlight of the new series: “an incredible and mind-blowing adventure where you have to use your mind, not your guns.”
“It’s set in a kind of horror house of bad science. Once again you will have to face an enemy named GLaDOS, an artificial intelligence, crazy and genius at the same time, and you will have to do this with an experimental device to open the portals.”
“Break the laws of physics in ways you don’t dare imagine in a puzzle-packed game with a story that can be played both individually and in multiplayer.”
Gods Will Fall will instead face “the colossal trials of a group of brave warriors who are desperately trying to save humanity from the gods’ cruel clutches”.
“After enduring so long the tyranny of divine sovereignty, any man or woman who can find a cure for a weapon will be summoned to join your clan of eight Celtic survivors to challenge the legions of monstrous beasts and servants that inhabit every kingdom… the gods of hell.”
Finally, Double Kick Heroes and Thrillville are a curious rhythm shooter and a theme park simulator classic for the original Xbox, respectively.
