Wargaming, the developer and publisher of the popular game World of Warships, announces the first autumn (spring, southern hemisphere) update for World of Warships: Legends. This update introduces a new line of German battleships in early access, the Japanese battleship Musashi available as part of the new Bushido campaign, and the return of collaboration with the TRANSFORMERS brand. Other additions to the game include three seasons of Ranked Battles, aircraft carriers in the Bureau, and a new in-game event.
German warships in early access
In the autumn update, early access includes new German warships. Tier IV to VII ships carry torpedoes and have a number of reinforced secondary ships. Each of the new ships, from Tier V Mackensen to Tier VII Zieten, is available in various Greater Germany Crates and normal warships, and comes with a special mission. This new line of ships will be researchable in the next update, as well as the addition of the line’s crown jewel, the Tier VIII Prinz Rupprecht.
Premium Japanese warship up for grabs in the Bushido campaign
Another five-week 100-Century Campaign comes into play in this update with the Bushido Campaign offering various prizes in World of Warships: Legends on its way to the coveted Musashi Tier VIII as the campaign’s final reward. Those who make it to the end will add this battleship to their arsenal, the sister ship of the famous Yamato and its mighty 18.1-inch guns. With the cooldown mechanic enabled, players will be able to complete the campaign at their convenience.
TRANSFORMERS return to the open sea
With a triumphant return, TRANSFORMERS brings brand new content to Legends. The new additions include six special skins for the Legends Anniversary Update campaign ship, the Tier VIII République, and five other legendary ships.
Inspired by famous Autobot heroes and evil Decepticon villains, here are some of the best TRANSFORMERS with skins inspired by Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, Hot Rod, Grimlock, Megatron and Rumble. These skins, TRANSFORMER commanders and more will be available in the updated Cybertronian game container in the store.
30 seasons of ranked battles
With the release of Seasons 29, 30 and 31, Legends is celebrating its historic 30th season of Ranked Battles with this update! Players will compete throughout all three seasons in a four-versus-four format without an aircraft carrier to compete for the top spot in the rankings and earn prizes, including steel, crates, and items for the development of the commander.
Legendary aircraft carriers and premium British warships in Legends
Completing this update, a new batch of legendary aircraft carriers arrive at the Bureau as independent projects: the American Midway and the Japanese Hakuryū. The Tier III premium British battleship Agincourt is also available exclusively in the new Majestic Days in-game event, which lasts for three weeks.
