A few days after the AEW Fight Forever trailer for THQ Nordic’s Digital Showcase 2022, Smackdown Vs. Raw’s writers’ project is shown in action with some convincing-looking in-game sequences.
In fact, it seems like a good job has been done on the animations and the graphics style in general, less dedicated to realism at all costs, and a bit overburdened by effects: like it or not, the final result looks nice.
For the rest, the mechanics don’t seem too far off from what we’ve known over the years when Yuke first collaborated with THQ and then 2K Games for annual WWE releases.
