The League of Legends Star Guardian event was plagued with difficulties; players did not receive their rewards on time, some story elements did not want to progress, and due to quest expansions, the disappearance of Starguard Tokens took many players by surprise. What happens if you lose any unspent Star Guardian tokens?
Some people save tokens from these events until the very end to give themselves a big bang, popping orbs left and right and having fun, some scrimp and save to get the prestige look they really want, and some just forget. They’re here. Whatever the reason, some League of Legends players lost all of their Star Guardian tokens when the event ended.
Fear not though, as Riot Support has been extremely helpful and offers to help those who missed out on rewards. The supporting tweet says:
“Star Guardian Tokens were deactivated yesterday in preparation for the release of Steel Valkyries. If you have any unspent Star Guardian Tokens, please submit your claim by September 7 at 11:59pm PDT and we’ll help you unlock your rewards.”
The link to submit your ticket is here. While Riot can’t return your tokens (technically they don’t exist anymore), the support team is committed to earning real rewards for players who can afford them.
Ahead of the release of the Steel Valkyries skin, it’s worth keeping an eye on the recent RP increase in League of Legends, and if you’ve ever wondered “How much did I spend on League of Legends?” You’re in luck, because this guide will tell you exactly how to find out.
