The PUBG MOBILE World Invitational (PMWI) took place from August 11-20, marking the return of PUBG MOBILE Esports to an event with an audience in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia in partnership with the Gamers8 event.

The championship was divided into two weeks, the first was to be the main tournament, in which the winning teams were determined PUBG MOBILE Pro League Spring Split and other official leagues around the world. A7 finished in 2nd place, only 6 points behind first place, with 174 points and $144,000 including position and MVP prizes. PMWI had alternative awards such as player with the most headshots, more removals per minute, more kills with grenade or vehicle, among others. Alpha 7’s Mythic and Revo took home the Most Headshots and Most Special Elimination titles ($5,000 each), with Revo also winning MVP, earning $10,000.
