Exciting new features coming to Hearthstone Battlegrounds on August 30th! Season 2 brings new features to the mode, including a new Battlegrounds track, the Battlegrounds Season Pass, Battlegrounds quests and experience, as well as legendary cosmetics, hero and minion updates, and a vibrant Magic of Azeroth theme.
- Quests on the battlefields
Quests are here to change the dynamics of the battlefields. This limited time event gives players a fourth turn quest that, if completed, will give a powerful reward to improve the game for the rest of the match! The combinations of quests and rewards are random so no match will be the same. And 11 more minions join the fight, accompanied by two new heroes: the talented detective Murloc Holmes and murder victim Sir Denatrius.
- New season pass and track “Battlefields”
Battlegrounds now offers its own path, featuring various emotes, cosmetics, attacks, and more from Battlegrounds. To progress along the path, simply earn experience with each victory in addition to completing quests, which are new challenges exclusive to the battlefields. You can earn even more items with the purchasable Battlegrounds Season Pass. using real money or Runestones, a new virtual currency from Hartstone. The Season Pass unlocks two additional Heroes and premium rewards, including higher tier cosmetic items.

Show off your light and brilliance with this new set of themed cosmetic items! The magic of Azeroth awaits you this season, shining and shining to enhance your appearance. In the new Alternative Time, the Dark Dragons have begun a crusade to destroy all magic in society. The Guardians of Azeroth and their allies must awaken their inner strength and save the Magic of Azeroth! Players will have a chance to shine with new Legendary boards and hero skinsas well as see new lines, animations and appearance changes depending on the situation on the battlefield.
