Oculus Quest 2 gets an audio update from Logitech

The Oculus Quest 2 has plenty of praiseworthy qualities, but the VR headset’s built-in speakers remain a weak point in an excellent device. However, the all-in-one device can now enjoy improved Valve Index-style sound thanks to a new accessory from Logitech.

Logitech Chorus is an integrated headset audio solution designed for the Oculus Quest 2 that should deliver a significant audio upgrade for the best VR headsets. Chorus is compatible with all three strap options, adapting perfectly to the shape and design of the device, which should be preferable to wearing bulky headphones.

Logitech clearly used Valve Index’s built-in speakers in its Chorus design, but whether its sound quality can match its inspiration remains to be seen. However, features like silence and USB-C pass-through suggest it’s more than just a knockoff.

You can pre-order Logitech Chorus from today for $99.99 / £89.99, but a release date has yet to be announced.
