The new Alienware AW2523HF gaming monitor is on the way with a 0.5ms response time. It includes a few extra features that could make it an extremely desirable display for gamers, including a Fast IPS panel that supports refresh rates up to 360Hz.
While its 25-inch 1080p 360Hz panel should deliver excellent motion clarity, FreeSync Premium will help prevent stutters and tearing for a more enjoyable gaming experience. Plus, it’s one of the few monitors on the market today that has received the VESA AdaptiveSync seal of approval, meaning you can expect great performance right out of the box.
The AW2523HF has some nice touches too, including a new “Legend 2.0” design that replaces the awkwardly wide feet of other Alienware monitors with a hexagonal base. You’ll also have a place to hang your best gaming headsets in your arsenal, thanks to the new built-in retractable ear cups.
For those who prefer a better balance between image fidelity and refresh rate, the AW2723DF might be the best gaming monitor. Its 1440p Fast IPS panel can be overclocked to 280Hz, which means it’s a sharp display. and receptive.
You can buy the AW2723DF for $649.99 / CAD 829.99 starting October 6, while the AW2523HF is priced at just $449.99 / CAD 569.99 and will be available starting September 7.
