NVIDIA GTC Holds Presentation with CEO and Announces New AI and Metaverse Technologies

NVIDIA announces that the next GTC conference will take place virtually September 19-22, featuring Founder and CEO Jensen Huang’s keynote address and over 200 sessions with global business and technology leaders. Registration is free and open. Juan’s keynote will be broadcast live on Tuesday, September 20 at 12:00 pm ET and will be available on demand.

GTC will also feature a keynote with Turing Award winners Yoshua Bengio, Jeff Hinton and Jan LeCun discussing how AI (artificial intelligence) will evolve and help solve complex problems. The discussion will be moderated by Sanya Fiedler, VP of AI Research at NVIDIA.

GTC’s keynote presentations will explore some of the key advances in artificial intelligence and the metaverse, including large language models, natural language processing, digital twins, digital biology, robotics, and climate science.

Key lectures will cover:

  • BMW, ILM, Kroger, Lowe’s, Siemens, NVIDIA and others will consider using digital twins for applications ranging from manufacturing to neurosurgery to climate simulation.
  • ByteDance Deployment of Large Scale GPU Clusters for Machine and Deep Learning
  • Medtronic uses AI for robotic surgery and the operating room of the future
  • Boeing’s digital transformation to make aircraft design and manufacturing more agile and efficient

GTC offers a range of sessions aimed at a wide variety of audiences, including business leaders, data scientists, IT business executives, designers, developers, researchers, and students.

Content for developers and researchers

GTC offers members at all stages of their careers excellent learning and development opportunities, many of which are free. Developers, researchers and students can sign up for 135 sessions on a wide range of topics.

Participants looking to build on their skills can sign up for one-day technical and hands-on workshops, as well as two-hour learning labs offered by the NVIDIA Deep Learning Institute (DLI).

Enrollees can attend free two-hour training labs or sign up for all-day DLI workshops at a discounted rate of $99 through Thursday, August 29 and $149 through GTC.

Information for business leaders

This GTC will feature over 30 sessions of the world’s leading companies in key industries including financial services, manufacturing, retail, automotive and healthcare. Speakers will share details on how to advance business using AI technologies and the Metaverse, including creating AI hubs; commercial value of digital twins; and new technologies that will shape the way we live, work and play.

“This will be another successful conference with a large number of guests of honor and a varied agenda,” said Marcelo Pontieri, director of marketing for NVIDIA Corporate Latin America. “In addition, in Brazil, we will have a novelty in this edition: there will be hour-long parties where Brazilian leaders will present the main novelties of the lectures. The idea is that participants can clarify their doubts in real time and better understand the ads.”

In addition to these companies listed above, senior executives from AT&T, BMW, Fox Sports, Lucid Motors, Medtronic, Meta, NIO, Pinterest, Polestar, United Airlines, and US Bank are among the industry leaders confirmed to attend.
