Pearl Abyss today announced the official launch of the first season of Arena Solare, a PvP mode focused on 3v3 combat in Black Desert Online. In addition to adding three new spore cards, the season brings events with various rewards for the winners. Watch the Arena Solare season 1 trailer here.
Arena Solare is the first PVP content in Black Desert Online that pits teams of three against each other. With gear leveled for everyone, it’s the combat skill that will determine who emerges victorious from the standoff. Matches are played in the best-of-five format. Challenge the arena to unlock special items and improve your Solare Emblem ranking against other players.
The following are some of the major new features implemented in the first season of Arena Solare:
New battlefields
On these new maps, each with unique characteristics, the player will need to use different strategies to adapt to each of them and win the bet. The lush and mysterious forest of the Manche with its dense fog; an open field in the Starry Jade Forest that allows for direct combat between teams, and the Ruins of Kadri, an amphitheater that can spawn random objects at any time for players to use during combat.
Improved interface
The new rankings page is divided into sections where players can see detailed information about other adventurers such as rank, class status, skills, and equipment. You can also check the level of Awakening and Success of the characters.
Special Events
To celebrate the first season of Arena Solare, Black Desert Online is hosting three events:
- – Access Rewards (August 17-24): Daily rewards for the first week in the arena for logging in, such as Honor Manor Chests, an item that grants certain consumables, and economic packs that contain additional character buffs.
- – Chasing Glory (August 17 to September 14): Players who finish in the top three places in each class will receive a special costume chest.
- – Master of Solare (August 18 to October 12): Players who win three Arena victories during a week in Ranked Mode will receive upgrade materials such as Cron Stone and Council of Valks (+110).
Ranked Mode Arena Solare is available on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 19:00 to 2:00 (Brazil time), and on Saturdays and Sundays from 16:00 to 3:00 (Brazil time). Training mode is available on Tuesdays and Thursdays, so players can fight without worrying about their ranking.
Black Desert Console
Parallel to these events, Pearl Abyss is also announcing a Summer Fiesta starting next week to celebrate the 3rd anniversary of the PlayStation version of Black Desert Console. Starting August 24, players on the platform will be able to receive various rewards by logging into the game daily.
