Rio de Janeiro, August 10, 2022 – Braindead Broccoli, maker of Fists of Repudio, today released the game for Windows and Linux. After 2 years of development, the arcade game is available on the Steam platform for R$16.90. Click here to watch the new trailer.
Fists of Repudiation is a classic stop-motion animation game where players try to survive a fictional pandemic in a city full of crazy deniers. The game features 4 playable characters with unique unlockable moves, extremely detailed scenarios, and 4-player local co-op multiplayer. Fans will also be able to use the Steam Remote Play tool to play online with their friends!
Between April and May 2021, the project had over 1,200 supporters in its funding campaign through Catarse, raising over BRL 50,000 for the development of the final game. The project is rapidly gaining popularity on Steam, is included in the list of popular releases of the platform and has thousands of daily views on the page.
The game is also being developed for Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series S/X, and MacOS under an agreement with publisher QUByte, but no release date has been announced.
ABOUT THE GAME
Fists of Rejection is a satirical 2D beat’em up with classic arcade elements and a modern look.
The game tells the fictional story of a pandemic that has spread all over the world and is ignored by fanatics who do not believe the disease is real, forcing the 4 main characters, ordinary citizens adequately protected by gloves and masks, to fight these fanatics and resolve the situation with the power of their own fist.
