System Requirements for Tower of Fantasy – Play on a Small GPU

Tower of Fantasy’s system requirements aren’t too high in terms of specs, but you should check your gaming PC before diving into competitor Genshin Impact. Fortunately, you won’t need a new Nvidia GeForce RTX GPU to explore Planet Hades, and developer Hotta Studio doesn’t seem too obsessed with CPU options.

According to the system requirements for Tower of Fantasy on Steam, you’ll need something like the Nvidia GT 1030, a nifty graphics card with 2GB of VRAM. For gaming at higher settings, you should upgrade to a GeForce GTX 1060, according to Hotta Studio, especially if you want to game at higher resolutions on a better gaming monitor.

Pairing a gaming CPU with the GPU of your choice should be easy, as the developer seems to recommend an i5 or i7 chip. For increased frame rates and gaming with higher settings enabled, it’s best to go with the latter, but the vague recommendation means the game could run just fine on a variety of chips.

Minimum advised
exploitation system windows 10 64 bit windows 10 64 bit
CPU Intel Core i5 Intel Core i7
RAM 8GB 16 GB
GPU NVIDIA GeForce GT 1030 NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060
video memory 2GB 6GB
storage 25GB 25GB

Tower of Fantasy meets the usual RAM requirements for gaming, as you’ll need at least 8GB to explore an open-world game. Hotta Studios recommends using a machine with 16GB of memory, so if you have spare slots on your motherboard, getting an extra memory card or two might improve your experience.

In terms of storage, you’ll need to free up at least 25GB to make room to download Tower of Fantasy on Steam. If you have the best gaming SSD in your computer, this shouldn’t be a problem, but it can be if you have other games installed, like FFXIV.

The compatibility of the Tower of Fantasy Steam Deck is currently unknown, so we will have to wait for an official verdict from Valve. The game’s Steam page says that it currently has “partial” PC controller support, so we may hear more if the MMORPG gets more gamepad functionality. However, launchers and online service pages can be a problem on a portable device, so Hotta Studios will do it for you. you have to make an effort to get the “Verified” status.

Along with the hardware recommendations, Hotta Studio is reportedly working on fixing Tower of Fantasy’s shortcomings. In other words, even the best gaming PC can struggle to play the game due to bugs and quirks that show up on launch day.
